  • Who is Suzie and Sarah Ruiz?

    • My Daughter Sarah and I (Suzie) moved to Marble Falls over four years ago in 2021. I felt led of the Lord to what I was supposed to do with this magnificent property. Countless Miracles later, The Gathering Barn started out as a drawing to become a beautiful, rustic 4,000 sqft Event Venue. We are a Mother-Daughter Team and I'm blessed we're doing this adventure together. 

  • What is your booking process?

    • When you are ready to book with us, together we will go over the rental contract and sign the necessary paperwork. The contract includes the rules and expectations, what is included in the rental fee, what is the final price and the payment schedule. The Non-Refundable Deposit is due at this point, which will complete the booking process.​​

  • How do you determine the price of each Event?

    • We base our pricing on several factors, including the type of event, the estimated number of guests, and the date of the event. This has allowed us to remain flexible and most importantly fair with our pricing.

  • Do you allow alcohol?​

    •  Yes, we allow alcohol to be served at The Gathering Barn through BYOB (bring your own) and/or through a licensed bartending service. We also have a separate list of rules and expectations, including when alcohol service must end and rules about conduct.

  • Do you allow live music?

    • 100% Yes! The Gathering Barn was built for live music, with lovely acoustics that allow for a beautiful sound. 

  • What is your max capacity?

    • Our max capacity with tables and chairs is 200 guests. Without tables (rows of chairs), our max capacity is 300 guests. It all depends on how much space you want for open areas such as a dance floor or food service.

  • How late do you allow events to go?

    • This is another way we strive to be different and flexible; we allow events to go on late into the night, even until midnight, as long as you get our permission and approval beforehand. Since we live on the property, our commute home is barely a minute long.

  • What payment methods do accept?

    • We currently accept cash or check; however, we are working on being able to take credit/debit cards in the future.

  • ​Do you have Wi-Fi?

    • Yes, we do; however, we do not have the Wi-Fi open to the public. Instead, we give the password to anyone who wants or needs it, such as the DJ. This allows the speed and reliability to remain high.​

  • Do you have decorations we can borrow?

    • Yes! We have countless items you can use for your wedding or event; fake candles and holders, lights, fabric and tulle, fake flowers and ivy, wooden Mr./Mrs. signs, table numbers, chair bows of various colors, two different arches, an easel, a preacher's podium, Communion trays, wooden ring box and cash box, and so much more.
